We are aware that availability of appointments had been an issue in the past. We have rebooted the system and offer a same day service. Most appointments are “on the day” ( although there is some pre-booked slots) We have telephone lines open all day.
We offer an Oncall Doctor service too. So any emergencies will always be seen, along with ill children.
It is important that you inform the reception staff if you you are unable to attend your appointment, this will allow that appointment to be offered to another patient.
Persistent defaulters maybe removed from the list.
If you are Late
Please attend your appointment on time , if you are late you may not be seen.
The partnership uses the Interpreting Service via language line and opts to use telephone interpreting over face to face interpreting. If a patient requests a face to face interpreter this will be requested from the Interpreting Service. Patients must give advance notice of this request. All BSL interpreting will be face to face.
